The Sisters

I've been wanting to do a Sunday Snapshot for a very long time, but just didn't feel my pictures were quite up to speed (in my opinion).  These are way better than I used to take.  After I get a couple photography classes under my feet I hope to learn how to make my blog a lot cooler with bigger pictures.  These are my girlies.  Aren't they beautiful?  It has been so warm and nice the past couple of days so we were able to go outside for these.

All these are shot with my Canon Rebel T1i at f/1.8 and ISO/200.  Enjoy!

Photography Class - Never Stop Learning!!!

f/3.5 ISO/400
f/11 ISO/400

 f/3.5 ISO/800
 f/11 ISO/800
 f/3.5 ISO/200
f/13 ISO/200

Guess what I'm doing . . . yup!  I'm taking a digital photography class!  Can't you tell by my photos that I'm learning a lot?  Well, I had no idea what f stops/apertures/ISOs/how to change to focal point etc. meant.  But I'm learning!  Pretty soon you are gonna see PEOPLE in my photos!  One big-O think I know I'm going to do is get closer, MUCH closer to my subjects.

Can you tell that the larger the f stop the more focused the background?  Yup. That's what and f-stop or the Aperture is going to do.  And, the larger the ISO the more light is let in.

I always look at moms who take great, I mean professional type, photos of their kids or other people's kids and wish I could do that.  Let's face it, paying a professional photographer is not cheap at all.  So, here I go!
